Anthony Lancaster hails from Goodlettsville, TN. When he joined Acappella in 2008, he became the second Lancaster to sing with the group. (You may have heard of his dad – a guy named Keith!)
One of the most helpful and humble people you’ll meet, Anthony has made a name for himself musically through his songwriting, including “Temptations of Christ” on Acappella’s Radiance album. He has arranged music and played in local bands around Nashville, and has, also, worked as a studio musician.
Anthony is an accomplished piano player and also plays percussion and guitar. He can often be found with his headphones on, gathering musical inspiration from an eclectic mix of styles. He has a self-admitted obsession with British rock bands, particularly the Beatles, and knows more Beatles trivia than most people. Did we mention that he sings, too?
Anthony currently lives in Edmond, OK, and is a Bible major at Oklahoma Christian University.
His favorite scripture is 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. ”Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.”
